WHO, WHAT AND WHERE IS CERTIFIED DIRECT AUTO?

Certified Direct Auto is the online division of Team Automotive Group-Baton Rouge, Louisiana. CDA was established to provide direct and complete access to our impressive inventory of clean, late-model, gently-used vehicles. Each and every one of our vehicles has passed our 100 pt. retail inspection, and most carry some type of warranty.

CAN ANYONE BID ON YOUR AUCTIONS?

Certainly, we encourage all persons with sufficient funds to bid on our auctions. We encourage you to call or email us to discuss any aspect of the vehicle, so that we can assist you in your bidding process and help you put a deal together.

WHERE DO ALL THESE VEHICLES COME FROM?

Certified Direct Auto enjoys the benefit of using Louisiana’s largest and most successful pre-owned dealership as support. A portion of our inventory does come from trade-ins, however we feature off-lease, closed auction, direct purchase, and dealer trades in our inventory as well. We are a licensed and bonded franchise dealer in Louisiana and we guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell.

WHAT ABOUT THE TITLES TO THESE VEHICLES?

The titles to most vehicles in our inventory are held on site; however situations do occur where delays in processing occur. Generally, duplicate applications, payoff/collateral, DMV and title transfer/donation/permission issues are the only delays. For information on availability of a specific title, please feel free to call.

IS ANYTHING ADDED TO THE PRICE?

Certified Direct Auto charges a non- negotiable $152.00 flat fee which is assessed for detail, inspection, notary, and business fees. Louisiana residents must pay tax according to designated residence parish. Keep in mind also that you, the buyer, are responsible for any state and/or local tax, title, license, and registration fees assessed on motor vehicle purchases.

aRE ALL YOUR VEHICLES "cERTIFIED"?

A.) All Honda vehicles 6 years old or newer and less than 80k miles are Honda Certified. View the Honda warranty page

b.) All Toyota vehicles 6 years old or newer and less than 85k miles are Toyota Certified. View the Toyota warranty page

c.) All other vehicles not covered by factory warranty can be Certified if they meet certain criteria. View the LDS Warranty Page for more details.

HOW iS SHIPPING OF THE VEHICLE ARRANGED? dELIVERY?

Whether you choose an open carrier for shipping, or an enclosed carrier we can help you get the best possible quote on shipping arrangements. In certain circumstances, we can provide drivers that will drive your vehicle to you. Ask your salesperson to help you with quotes for shipping or delivery.

If you would like to fly in and drive your vehicle back we can assist you with those arrangements as well. We in fact will pick you up at either New Orleans International Airport or at the Baton Rouge airport.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cashier’s checks, wire transfers, certified funds, Visa, MasterCard, and loan checks provided the above are drawn on US banks with US funds. We do not accept foreign currency. Cash, checks, and other forms of “In-Person” payment must be approved prior to arrival and secured with another form of payment.

DO YOU FINANCE?

YES! We do finance. To protect your privacy, we do not provide an online application, as even secure sites can be compromised. Call us and we can explain how we collect the necessary information.

HOW DOES THIS WORK – I’VE NEVER BOUGHT A VEHICLE ONLINE:

The process works something like this:

$500 dollar deposit placed upon winning auction.
Contact established via phone and/or email
Transaction details finalized
Remittance of remaining balance is settled
Paperwork typed and mailed via Fed Ex.
Once money is received and paperwork signed, vehicle is released.

CAN I GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH YOU?

YES! Most vehicles at CERTIFIED DIRECT AUTO have warranties; however extended warranty packages are available on most of our inventory. There are several extended warranty options available for most vehicles. Please ask your salesperson for details. Call us for details.

DO YOUR VEHICLES REALLY LOOK AS GOOD AS DO IN THE PICTURES?

As with all used vehicle purchases, it is your right and privilege to inspect a vehicle before purchase, or order a private inspection (paid by you). CERTIFIED DIRECT AUTO does its very best to inspect, repair, warranty and accurately and honestly describe each vehicle, calling attention to imperfections present at time of inspection where applicable.

DO YOU TAKE TRADES?

ABSOLUTELY! We welcome and encourage you to offer us your trade-whatever it might be! We will set up a method to properly evaluate your trade, including asking you questions to determine its condition as accurately as possible. Just as you expect the vehicles at CERTIFIED DIRECT AUTO to be in the condition we describe, we too expect your trade to be as you claim it to be.
